Mazunga Safaris together with Matetsi Wildlife Safaris hunt out of the Bubye Valley Conservancy area which is 850,000 acres and is situated in the South West part of Zimbabwe formerly known as the Lemco safari area. This Conservancy is made up of three areas consisting of the Main Conservancy, Ripple Creek and Fimbiri which have been hunted for the last twelve years. This prime Zimbabwe lowveld bush has been set aside solely for wildlife and hunting which has resulted in becoming a hunters paradise!
Zimbabwe is a landlocked country in Southern Africa and is well known for its infrastructure and facilities and for the openness and friendliness of its people. The weather is warm and wet during summer (November to March) with cool, dry winters (April to October).
Mazunga Safaris is registered with the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority - Tour Operators Licence no 0062. We are also members of the Safari Operators Association of Zimbabwe (SOAZ).
